What's up Walter! I am going to be back and will see you at the next race.

I think the RRR's internal is exactly 2. But the kit set up has overdrive of about 1%.

This might help:

BB, had bit of a play on the weekend with the RRR. With the stock setup it has a lot better turn in than the Evo, the rear would spin around in the corners off power (typical V1R) but keep in mind I was using my 5 port RB with 20% nitro running on Sorex 32's (and running on a concrete track for those who don't know). I changed to the red clutch shoe, a lighter rear sway bar and heavier front springs which did help, but what I need to do is get some Sorex 40's cause the 32's were overheating. With a little more tweaking it will run on the concrete with rubbers and do it better than the Evo did.

The race day was a casual format with many races getting under way when enough people were ready to run. I won all but 1 race and at the end of the day was overall fastest aswell! I had never beaten the fast guys at that track before, and I beat them cleanly so i was very very happy! The 3r was running great! so happy with this car. just wanted to share.
that's good to hear bro.. what engine are you running??? also, what pipe are you using???

I have been reading these last few pages and i was wondering if Nimo had any problems with his belts hitting the exhaust. Also just wondering on the durability of these cars. I know the FW05r is a beast, but sluggish on steering, just wondering how well this RRR held up and how many hop ups you "actually" need to make the car sturdy right off the bat.

Thanks so much,
Mike

I never had any problems with steering. I fitted the RRR front hubs and the optional steering plate and it was fine. Very stable on long sweeping corners. Drag break helps a lot and dont run more than 2deg toe in

Cheers

bro...josh cyrul is running his v-one rrr box stock on the ifmar worlds in brazil... i guess the kit is very race worthy out of the box without any hop-up parts to add..

I don't have the RRR, I run the FW05 with RRR hubs.
The 05 is spot on with Rubbers but has an annoying push with Foams, and as I may be running in both championships next year I'm considering the RRR for foam use, so I'm simply reading what others have to say.

Couple of pages back, somebody posted a picture of differences, which are:
Front differential instead of one-way
Different pinion gears
Different front side pulley
Different rear uprights
Different shock springs (softer)
Different clutch shoe and spring
Different rear shock tower

Can you buy one of the kits that includes both parts for foam or rubber tires?

Thanks,
Mike

I'm behind the push for Foam Tourers in the UK, or to put it another way, Anti-Wedgies.
Foam Touring has taken over from Wedgies at AMCC and the lap times are only 1 lap slower.

The Rubber version has different rear axles. The uprights are the same.
