STPM: our stock class is blinky no boost then we also will run mod sedan.... to be honest we run the 17.5 blinky class on Thursday nights and it is a hoot with some real close racing 19's second laps. the straight is 180' and actually kinda cool to run down in a 17.5. we will add some more dot's to add a couple tight turns to the track....

Default Argh!

Once again, I forgot to check the Nitro forum, so I'm late with my entry. I tried to do it on-line, but it only wanted $0, so I just aborted. I found this thread, printed out the form, and will mail in the darn thing. Sometimes computers just add complications (and fees).

TTFN,
Grem

Default 1/8th Scale GT class at TZGP

Here are the rules for the 1/8th Buggy Based GT class at the TZGP. Mark has added the class on the flyer but the website has yet to be updated.

1/8th GT Spec Class:

RULES:
The rules we have adopted are a modified version of the Midwest GT rules.

Chassis: Any 1/8 scale buggy based shaft driven nitro powered car. (Any off-road conversion is OK)

Body: Any commercially available GT style body.
1. Wings and spoilers can be used if they are the original with the body and cut on the factory lines. Rear of the bodies should maintain tail lamps and can not be completely cut out.

Tires: Sweep 50 shore slicks are the "spec" Tire. Timezone will be selling them for $56 a set of four.

Weight: Minimum dry weight of 3500 grams.

Engine: Any .21 to .28 displacement “spec” style engine.
1. All factory installed internal parts with NO modifications.
2. Must be commercially available.
3. Regular price suggested to be under $200 not including tax. (Use Tower Hobbies, Stormer Hobbies, Horizon Hobbies or any other large retail store as price reference.)

Pipes: Any tuned pipe is OK.

Here is a list of "SPEC" motors that people are running:

Kyosho: GXR28 (KYO74025)
Ofna: .28 Force (OFN52217)
Ofna: Hyper .28 (OFN 53220)

yep power is available... but if you have a generator I would bring it... because the size of the race and the amount of competitors.. you may need it.

Anyone coming from out of town will be fine. Rick has a massive shop with it's own power that will feed the pits. Also most of us locals will have generators back in the forest.

Wow! 4 weeks and 2 days away.
