Default whats the differnce between the differnt brands of shock oil e.g kyosho schumacher ec

What's the differnce between all the shock oils e.g kyosho schumacher ect is there any difference if there the same weight I mean?

CPS or WT are standards, so 40WT from the one should be the same as 40WT from the other.

Basically nothing. They all use the same silicone oil.

The only differences come from the scale they use to grade it and how precise their equipment and quality control are. Independent testing has shown some to have very consistent viscosity throughout the range and read quite close to the posted numbers, others have some pretty big variances.

it was unsportmanship on my behalf i apologize.....now to answer most of yor question which help me and few others one ...also best to print this info as well to keep w/you one the track .....go to Xray webside and print off the setup guide it explain detail about oils of diff & shocks etc... hope that help you

Just stick to one brand. I only use Serpent/Xceed oils, and I dont have a problem. If you're using a setup sheet from a Kyosho driver, use Kyosho oil.
