Types of classes and what bodies can be used?

Hello All, My son and I are new to the racing cuircut and would like some helpful hints as to what the different classes are and what are the body requirements currently we have 1/10 and 1/8 scale and running Lola bodies? are these bodies regulation?

Please let me know

thanks

with that question...its all up to the track that youll be racing at....the lola for the 1/8 should be okay, but most track use offical ROAR or EFRA rules.. and the 200mm bodies for the 1/10 is required....there are some 1/10 lola races..but i would check with you local track to see if its okay...

I take it that you will be running at GLARCRC <Transit Authority>
For the club races,Glenn does not push the rules too hard.
For 1/8th scale, most of the bodies you will see are the P909, Blitz,Zytek, and a few other ones. For the ROAR races, they are more concerned that your track width, height, are within specs.
For the 1/10th scale it is pretty much the same as far as checking the width, and height. Sam at Kamikaze Toys and Hobbies usually has all of the latest bodies in stock for both 1/8th and 1/0th scale. If I remember right, there is a club race coming up this next weekend, or the weekend after.Glenn puts on a great race program.
