Default What are OS .12 TR's like?

Anybody had much experience with them? They look pretty impressive...

I just got through tunning one today. They run pretty strong. They seem to be right on par with the Mugen .12 engine , but don't seem to have the some bottom end punch.

They're good engines, but I think they're a little less powerful than their Nova RE counterparts. I would recommend them for a slightly less experienced nitro racer because they hold and increadibly steady idle and are a bit easier to tune.

Piston wear is a major issue for this engine. other then that, it is okay but with a little bit more I would prefer NR.

TR?....One day I will get this engine out again and play......but I do like the almost indestructable nature of the NR engines!!

Besides that, speed is fine for a small to medium size track!

Myt side exhaust outruns this engine.. Guy at my LHS touts it as the best engine out there. I am not total convinced of that though mabye its the best for speed and easy tuning, but not just for speed alone.
