Default New to nitro car kits

Hi,

Kinda new to nitro on-road car kits & would like to get advice on this 2 kits that i'm thinking of getting on my trip to KL nxt wk.

The Sonic & the Xstrpower

Pls give some advice or recommend some other RTR kits equivalent to them.

Found it! In my opinion you can't expect much for a $200 nitro car. Low quality parts, not many distributors if any... I would go for traxxas 4tec 3.3

Don't do it,it will turn you away and throw away money with a name brand kit if you don't it you can sell it but you will never sell the other and can't get any money back

Get an used Serpent car and that'll probably last you for life

I would suggest you buy a good used car. Perhaps a Mugen MTX4, or an Xray NT1, or similar. Choose something you can get parts for, and something designed to be worked on.

mugen seiki mtx4(common)
shepherd velox v10(hard to find used)
team magic G4(common)
