We got in 2 qualifiers before the rain hit. After a few hours, some of the guys stuck around and practiced.

Just looked at last years GLC and the best lap I did was 20.03. Yesterday I did a few in the 18s I think the best was 18.8 with 4 or 5 year old tires LOL. I know the layout is different and not sure which is faster but either way think the 2 layouts are within a few tenths of each other.

I think you right about them being within a few tenths. Regardless I think its about that time we set up the GLC Layout!

Think Jon has an excellent idea about switching layouts to asess the other layout pavement condition / issues and to start building an even controllable traction base.

Here is the info I have

I was told the normal switch time frame is around July 4th.
The last date I know if for this lateout will be july 3rd race for bill bridges.

Traction should be somewhere inbetween the first Race, and this past weeks race at the next event, Learning how much to spray on the new sealer has been bit tricky.

It was good to see that we could make as much traction as we can handle, we wrote down what we did each time and how it was done, now to just aim for the middle, And allow the traction to come up some vs it being bonkers from the start.

Overall the track is in much better shape this year then last I am being told and tire wear has been awesome on both high grip and low grip.

Please remeber to come July 3rd for the Bill Bridges race.

I am enjoying racing with everyone and happy to be back timo the sport/hobby

for 1/8 might want to bring 35/37 and maybe some 40's
We will know better after we get the traction compound perfected.
Are you coming for GLC or earlier?

Still might need some 32/35s for the rounds.
Just depends more to come as we nail down the spray and get closer.

I was on 35/37, i did try and run 32/25 they worked ok in round 1 but the starting size was 70.9 rears they lost about .7 for about 7 mins of running.

Anyways more info to come on tires
