Yes it has been neglected but that doesn't mean that it is a very good car.

It's not all that different from the NTC3 but I think it is a better car. It is also cheaper and will prove to be faster. Besides where I'm located the NTC3 has just as little part support.

But then again if you compare it to the team version of the NTC3 then they don't compare. The FT NTC3 is by far a better car but they aren't in the same class of racing or anywhere near the same price range.

How will it prove to be faster by being cheaper? It's quite different from the NTC3. Nothing on the car is similiar. It's a good car but I highly doubt it can come to the performance of the AE NTC3. It's been outdated and around for years. No updated or performance mods have been made for it to run with the cars of today out of the box. Back them it may have been a race worthy car, but for the price, NTC3 takes the cake. Where are you? Might be your location due to lack of Associated parts.

Autralia.

The msx3 was reliased about two years ago. There was an older that was realieased I think about five of six years ago that wasn't all that great. The msx3 is very good. It is the only car that can come close to the kyosho V1S or FW05-s. It is a completely race worthy car and I entend to win races with it.

From the info I see there hasn't been any update in the last 2 years. If thats the way you feel about it, go ahead and race with it. I felt the same way about my NEO TNT but with lack of part support as well as their original company being taken over by Megatech and them not giving a damn about it, why bother? I'm saving for a NTC3 or R40. Better part support, handling, etc.

Handling????

I have brought two of these in the last month I think they are great. They are the closest car to the kyosho's.

I can get any part for the car. If it isn't in stock I can get it over night. That sounds like very good part support to me. As for the NTC3 people have had to wait up to four weeks for very simple items such as arms.

The Kyosho V1S are the sport level cars. Pretty decent but the higher end line of their cars are better values and perform better even out the box. Even the V1R, although old and discontinued was a better car than both the MSX3 and V1S. It's was only $200 last time on tower. Should've gotten that back then since I could have used the upgrade kit to change it to the EVO. No biggie. BTW, I know other people who live in Australia who can get AE parts easily. Like I said before, if thats what you can get parts for, go with it.

V1R is a totally different class of car It doesn't come with a motor and is about 4 times the price once you have brought a decent motor and pipe.

MSX3 and V1S are in the same class as the RTR NTC3 and the nitro 4-tec RTR of these the V1S is the best because it is a V1R which has been optioned down.

IMO out of the cars you listed I'd say NTC3 but to be honest my suggestion would be get a NTC3 kit with the V2 rear end and a strong .12 if you want to race. If not just get the RTR Plus version

The last price sold for the V1R was $199.99. Very inexpensive compared to price it was when it came out, before they had all the other high end sedans from kyosho. Still the NTC3 is up there with the V1R. The MSX3 is in a lower class with the V1S, and other sport level sedans. The NTC3 Plus RTR is a NTC3 with the new V2 suspension and few other new options. It can hang with some of the best cars out there if you dial it in correctly and have good driving skills but for the money, you can spend it on a Mugen, Kyosho, G4, or Serpent. RTR, yes but it has lots of performance. Anyway this is going off topic and for Skyline he is better with the Associated anyway.

It is a lot cheaper than a NTC3 and the HPI RS4 3.
hey frozenpod, how can it be cheaper when you not only have to buy the expensive kit but also the radio, special battery, motor, pipe, manifold, etc. that adds up to alot. NTC3 all the way.

That is for the V1R and FTNTC3 which is the only NTC3 worth considering.

The V1S comes with motor. Reffer to previus post.

The msx 3 comes with motor and in a RTR version which includes radio gear. Just like the NTC3 I think the new RTR NTC3 comes with a two speed which.
