Default maybe a dumb question

how do most people have their servo reverse switch set up for throttle? do most people keep it normal so that pushing fwd on trigger is throttle and pulling back in brake or is it just up to the person. the reason why i ask to me it seems that i have better control of throttle and brake when i leave servo reverse switch normal for throttle. just wondering what other people do

Are you talking about stick or pistol grip? What you described is standard stick config but backward for pistol grip.

Be aware that some servo's move the other way up than others, that is why transmitters do have servo reverse, to get every servo moving in the right way.

With a Nikko electric car (solid 1 piece electronics) we came to the conclusion the ESC was working better in reverse but without a servo reverse option I had to drive otherwise with the pistol grip transmitter. It was easy to use to.

Some oldies are still driving reversed because they have learned in that way back then there was no reverse option......
