Looks like Team Magic has a new car in the workz...

Let the comparison and brand trash talking begin...

Nice!
Did they just announce it as a future project or are they near done?

Would be awesome to see a finished car at the toy fair. And Great for me if it came out before the season begins.

Same wheelthingys as the new mugen. I see some mugen and serpent in that design. But it will be better

And what's with this "wheelthings"?
Are they bling factor? Don't suppose so.

Default More pics....

Team Magic usually was a stray when it came to the designs of their cars... They usually had things that no one else had, or did things no one else did it like them...

This seems like a radical change and the Team Magic will now be a "mainstream" car like the rest... Not saying its a bad thing, but they seem to gave up on being different and not working out for them... I see a lot of elements from other cars like others have mentioned, but I do see some nice ideas that might be good to have...

Yep couldnt agree more ... looks just like the others.. lost all it's styling and flair, and to be honest I dont think this car will dramatically bring back the drivers.

Ok so they address the battery... And not saying it wont be a fast car, just that it saddens me that it's lost an identity.. oh well there arent many of us left.. *shrugs*.

Car looks good.

Does anyone know who the U.S. importer is now?

Car looks awesome, hope they actually make it, cause their 1/8th scale car never made it...

I posted this on the G4RS 09 thread, but it is relevent here too...

I find it interesting that two CAD drawings from two different manufacturers can be so similar released two days apart...

If this drawing is the makings of the latest Team Magic G4 it will be the first time they have moved away from the whole low CG design philsophy of the previous cars with the lay down servos and the design of the fuel tanks. I don't believe it makes that much of a difference when the engines sit up above everything anyway.

Time will tell, 2011 is going to be a very interesting year!

As a bit of a Team Magic Puriest I must confess that the car has lost some of its uniqueness... Part of what I like about Team Magic is the unique design of the Nitro Cars that they produce.

To me without the fuel tank design and the whole Low CG design they have lost part of what makes them special!

At this point I know that my next on road Nitro will probably be a X Ray or a Serpent.

Bad Team Magic! Naughty!
