Wow Bryce I thought I was the only one addicted to RC cars. Quite impressive. (And if your'e married... most impressive). BTW I bought out a ton of parts from a closing hobby shop including a box full of B3, Losi and Kyosho parts. Let me know if you need anything.

Nice job John. Love the black window trim and the before and after shots.

This is a Kyosho GP10 (based) that I purchased while stationed in Okinawa Japan in the early 90's. It has the 4wd/two-speed transmission/cooling fan/OS Max CZ-RX (2.11cc) engine with lots of option parts that were obtained at local Japanese hobby shops.

It has been "stashed" in a corner for many years so I'm going to start the restoration by cleaning it up! I think I have all the parts that are not bolted on, along with a Frewer Porsche 959 wide body in decent condition.

Default Makeover Alert!

Wow Nomad what a great project! I love all things Kyosho. Sure is a funky carburetor you got there or is that the air filter!?? Those tires could use a little moisture huh? I will check my dungeon and see if I have any parts you can use.

I bought out a hobby shop and got a ton of old Kyosho Associated and Tamiya parts.

Be sure to take the "after" photos and post!

Here is my cousin to your GP that I restored from near death Kyosho Superten GP. I upgraded the motor and pipe from a TMaxx and kinda made it work

Here is my other Superten with the OS LD engine and funky orange pipe.

Thanks Nytro!

That aluminum alloy "velocity" looking stack is the air cleaner. There's a disk in the top (will show more pics later). I have the original rims/rubber tires and a set of foams in ziploc baggies... seem to be still decent shape. I dug around some more tonight and found some more stuff. So far, only thing not there is the linkage to the carb but that's easy to get something together.

Dig your car too!

Cool, I like it. For my Superten I have a new original NSX body from Kyosho that I'm going to paint like my profile photo, just need to duplicate the decals
