It looks like its nearly ready for a test drive!

As for stickers you can buy sheets of sticker paper off ebay to make your own, and i had a local printer print some out for me on his lazer printer using his paper ... but his sticker stuff is very ... paper based and a pain to remove.

The stuff i got from ebay looks more vinyl like and i think if i could get the local printer to print on them it would be the best of both worlds as in the laser print might have more hold than the inkjet printer and the vinyl stuff is more like your standard stickers.

A sign printing shop might be the go aswell.
Awesome looking paint schemes!

I do like the CRG ones aswell ... but yeah the white based one i can see would be easier... quicker.

What was this go-kart like in its stock state?

Nice project you got there.
Would be really cool if one of the big manufacturers made a proper rc kart, most of the time the tires are crap which makes it quite difficult with a 2wd.

Used to do some karting myself:

(don't mind the open visor, it was 32C that day )

the kart started life as a TURNIGY hobby king 1/4 kart from hobbyking.com .. it was only like $100, bargin look at the very first pic, oh and ya said NEARLY ready for a test drive check out the youtube.com vids i posted in this thread its already had its first run and ran great ...

im thinking now of getting my sizing right on just A4 paper then taking it to a printer to make a sheet or two of the sticker kits. here is a few more sticker kits i found on the net of high end kart chassis.

Fellow Kart racer here as well. Last kart was a Swiss Hutless with an italsystem. The kyosho Birel kart probably looks the closest to a real kart right now. I could see a full firld of these at the local track done up in different liveries. Too cool!

:P thats cool im 24 but my dad is huge into historic karts .. from 60's-80's .. since iv stoped racing im leaning towards the pre-side pods karts cos they are just so much more fun .. there so light cos they dont have all this B/S stuff on it like todays karts.. my dads got 45+ engines and a dyno .. rangeing from a few MACS with up to 4 carbs on them to the last of the aircooled motors like the votex in my display pic..his got about 10 chassis now from mostly the 80's .. and a few TWIN engine chassis .. ( his building me a twin right now with twin KOMET 100cc rotarys . ) he is also building a replica of "ayrton senna's " world championship winning kart .. team DAP kart all done up the same , powder coated the same , same engine the whole nine yards . its gunna be pimp ..

here is a few pics of the historic nationals in AUS with me and my bro driving ..

ME :P driving a demon 1989 with 100cc DAP rotary.

update...

wel been chatting to my dad about these sticker kits and its just gunna be to pricy$$$ to get them made .. its ok if i was selling em but to get a few one -offs made is to much money ... sooo what i did last night was print out on normal paper the right size of a section of the KOSMIC sticker kit .. i picked the right side pod .. then my dad had sum of that good thick az clear vinyl .. the thick stuff that moto and go-kart sticker kits are made from ..

i cut out the paper and then stuck the clear vinyl over the top a lil bigger so it would stick .. and to tell ya the truth it worked very well and looked not bad ... today im gunna try again and do it evern better and il post up sum pics tomoza .. see how i go ,

Just thought I'd comment too... I was South Aus state champ 1997 in Formula 100 using a Tony kart and Rotax engines. Great sport, raced for 5 years all over the country, cost my Dad a fortune!!
