You get the best handling from those boxey cam-am styled bodies, they generate more downforce. A long time ago back in the 80's when serpent first introduced the vector they offered a touring car body a BMW did not handle at all they immediatley discountinued this body. The 1/7 scale bodies that ofna has might be too long for your chassis check the lenght of the body before you buy one.

Orfeous,
Part #X81126. Thinking of putting it on your 'snake'?
Speaking of bodies.....Parma R-10!!! Blows away everything else.

Vector is from 1997.....
in the 80's they had the Quattro and then the Sprint......

In the past I've seen only 1 body which really looked nice, this was a VW Beetle, car handling was crap, but it looked funny
All the other sedan bodies looked "ugly", has something to do with the dimensions of the 1/8 scale cars.....

I am sorry, M78 getting my years crossed up!! You are right it was the 90's I need some more coffee. The only thing I remember is my vector would not handle while I had that body on it , I ended up getting a lola styled body and noticed a improvement in handling.

Serpent EVO3 has more front downforce....

Thank You,

Most Rx would fit nicely into the box, sanwa, futaba,Ko's . Over here , many have modified this box to fit various makes without a problem.

Active hobbies do a fantastic 18th GT style body. I got one and it looks really cool. Unfortunatly it handles like crap. I'm sure I could get it to handle if I messed about with the settings

I got some pics if you want. Send me a PM with your email

Cheers

Talking setting front droop

I own a XR8 and a little miffed as to how the front droop is set. It doesn't have the typical grub screws in the a-arms for adjustment. I'm sure that I've over-looked something, maybe something obvious, haha. Any help will be appreciated.

The grubs for the front droop are accessable thru the top front of the bulkheads. If you remove the front body mount you should see the holes for them. The grubs on the lower roll bars are for up-stop against the bulkhead.
