Pro-line and Racers choice make Lola bodies that are readily available through any store. Then there is also Serpent.
RD Logics Turbo II is a good exhaust and not to expensive. I also have a new Rossi 'magic-one' adjustable system that seems really cool. The coupler is like a turnbuckle, and allows for quick length adjustments to change powerband.
PRP is offering pre-painted Lola bodies but they are not being shipped yet.

duneland: The pre-painted lola bodies that is on our website has been available since August 4th. We got boxes of them and have been shipping them out to various hobbyshops nationwide.

the reason for the your XR80 going sideways may be because of the surface, may have been slipery, wheels also may have been at an angle which contributed to the side ways action and at what speed you may have been going at.

Or it could be that it's an 8th scale car with a front one way diff... I thought we covered this a while back. You just have to learn to depend on your brakes alot less, it's a racecar... Try reducing the sensativity of the brakes, either through E.P.A. on your remote, or phisically turning the adjuster on the brake linkage.

For your steering I suggest Dual Rates. Look it up in your remote's manual, or if it doesn't have that option, a smaller servo cap/arm on the steering servo.

If you only have a hundred left, forget clutch and servos. Go for servos first.
I like the Futaba digitals. I use a 9350 on steering (that's a $100 by itself).
You could go with JR 590M ($39.95) or 650M ($49.95).

No, he's sayng save the clutch money for servos. If you're getting the JR DSM, it comes with decent servos, no upgrade really needed. The Z590 is a high torque servo, and I raced with one in my R40 for over a year, problem free. I have a Z650 in the XR80, and it's awsome, very fast and strong. If I were you, I'd get the DSM, and the Power Racing Centax specifically designed for that car. Aside from the motor, our cars would be nearly identical...

Clutch comes from Power Racing, I got mine at my LHS. I can't remember what I paid for it, under $100.00 I actually liked the stock RTR clutch better, but the centax is doing fine(just a real headache to get it right).

I'm still running the orignal RTR pipe, it works great, nice even powerband. But we have a relatively small track, so you might want to experiment.

You really don't have to run a 650 for steering, it's actually kinda overkill(but I wanted the best without buying a digi, and it doesn't consume power like the digis do). Save some $$$ and use the one that comes with the DX3 first, and if you feel like it needs one, then upgrade...
