Woow......

From what I have seen..

Some of the things look like Serpent ... Some of the things look like MRX3 ...

As such ..

Front Arm look like Serpent
Rear Upper Arm look like MRX3

The car seem like there was shorter wheelbase/ Front Rollcenter option.

Absorber look like Mugen + Serpent ...

But it's look nice !!

BTW, Is it GSRacing Brand ?

The XR8 is awfully nice. I thought it was made by Xray due to its name. XR8 is the brother of the XB8. It looks like a lightened version of the 950/R. The price is killer! Dino hope you extend your Dragon Series motor and add a .21 D7R? I enjoy 1/8 on road more than the others due to its ballistic speed and cornering and it's good to know Delta and this company is trying to improve the class.

Everyone uses an X somewhere...RCX, MRX, TRX, YRX, TNX, DTX, etc. Yes, it does sound like XB8. But no more than anyone else's X's! hehe

The XR/8 made in Taiwan like pretty much everything else out there, even the more famous companies' stuff is made there. GS, however, is not the manufacturer of this particular car. There's only so many ways to design the suspension on these cars, so they all end up looking pretty similar. Interestingly, the front upper arms are being changed to a beefier design.

Also, the shocks pictured are indeed Serpent shocks...the ones that come with the car will have machined teflon pistons and aluminum bodies. It's a prototype, once again...just to give people an idea of the layout of the chassis, mostly.

The driveshafts and a few other bits looked like they're the famous Hudy spring steel too!

Hudy isn't the only company in the world to use this kind of spring steel.

For $400, that car looks really, really good. Any shops in the bay area going to keep parts in stock for it?

Anyway,I believe it will be a good racing car. When I have chance I would get mine. I have seen some parts out there already. The quality is really good. The manufactory maybe not that famous to you but thay do have many experience on kits production(OEM). Let's wait and see how it perform. Bless them

Dear Smitty,

In fact I don't think that optimistic. When there is a cheap engine around $299 or so,people will start to think that it must have bad quality or cheap materials. When they can't win, they will start to blame that cheap stuff. In my opinion many people don't know how to win, they just know that why losing is because I spend not enough money as others. They forget R/C is hobby not gamble. They can't get more fun from R/C car except winning. Keep burning money.

The the car I saw at the Nats was very nice and well designed. Pics here are of the same car.Upon close inspection, the car really showed it was all buisness. I like the roll center option for the front. 399 is a steal.Imagine getting a car and motor for about the same as the competitors car alone.

Roger or Cam....are the dogbones/universals spring steel?
