Default Mugen Sponsored drivers

Does anyone know why Mugen is losing some of their high profile drivers? Are they just not resigning them? Drivers choose to leave on their own?

Drivers move, it happens. Doesn't really mean a whole lot.

True but Swauger and Savoya ARE paid and are the main subject of this discussion.

It is all about business. Sometimes a company needs to make a change and sometimes the need for change is from the driver's perspective. Either way the reasons can vary dramatically regardless of who drives the decision. Whether the change has a positive impact always takes some time to recognize. I for one hope that Mike, Mugen and others that recently have made changes continue to find success.

See you at the finish line,
Roger

I don't believe the driver's change had anything to do with the car as MIke was blazingly fast whenever he was on track. Show me the money!

Sponsor drivers dont affect my decision to stick with one brand.

As long as Mugen Seiki build high quality cars, I'll stick with it.

I used to watch Mike drive a Picco 1/8th and don't think I've ever seen one go so fast.

From a business point of view, it just seems Mugen is trying unload some of it's "assets" I guess you can say. Many of us have seen Mike drive and he pretty much puts his car in the "show" at every race To me, it just doesn't make sense to let go of someone who's brought Mugen so much sucess. But hey, who am I.

What a silly thread.

Swauger and Savoya leave and everthing thinks Mugen is a bad brand.

What about all the other driver movements that have happened recently (particularly in offroad) with other brands?

It's just business.

Maybe they have got a better deal, maybe they need a new challange, maybe their contract has stopped, maybe they can not find theirselfes with the new car or the new policies Mugen has stated, there are much possibillities you will never know.....
