Default pro compound

just got my first touring car, which is also my first nitro. i used to run 1/12 with foam tires, soi know nothing about sedan tires. i picked up some hpi x-pattern belted pro compound tires which came with some soft foam inserts. the guy at the hobby shop also sold me some hpi molded foam (green) inserts. i dont understand the effect inserts have or what going from a softer to harder insert wil have. my real question is --what will be better for parking lot bashing? and will the harder molded inserts make my car bouncy?

try www.nitrorc.com they have a pretty good article on t/c tires.

foams are the way to go if you are racing though.
