Default Which 200mm wedge body?

I want to get a 200mmm wedge body for some local club races and was wondering who makes the best body? I am asking because the few I have picked up and looked at seemed like they are made of very thin lexan and didn't look very durable or have very defined details.

So who makes them?

What are the advantages or disadvatges to the different bodies? handling, quality, fit

Who has the best prices?

I will be putting it on my NTC3 if that matters on the fit.

Thank You

Try McAllister Racing - www.mcallisterracing.com (if its wrong just do a search for them). They make a 200mm Dirt Late Model just for a sedan chassis.

The Racers Edge body is pretty stiff and also comes with a wing and side re-enforcements.

Ok, I found the "Racers Edge" website but they don't have any bodies listed? I found a ton of other stuff listed though. Where can I view or possibly buy a Racers Edge body from because it sounds like what I am looking for.

Has anyone tried the "Racers Choice" Lola body that TowerHobbies sells, it looks pretty well made also.

Thanks

none of the wedge bodies are very durable. mostly cause you cant really run the foam bumper. the one i like best for 200mm is the frewer lola. they handle pretty nice.

I was there on the 3rd sunday race. Thing is, I won't be able to get out there for about a month! All my weekends are tied up for Aug.

Thank You

I take it, since you said you'll be running your NTC3 at your local club race, that it'll be on a prepared track... Even if it's a parking lot setup, you'll want your car to handle well... there's a reason why the Top nitro and electric drivers use Protoform/Proline bodies... Barry Baker helps to design these bodies for his NTC3... How do I know this??? Because I race with him at my local track here in SoCal... The Mazda 6, Dodge Stratus, Alfa Romeo, ect are all good bodies to use on your NTC3... You say club race, what are the drivers there using??? Your question of what are the advantages and disadvantages to the different bodies... Advantages are they are design for your type of car... handling also includes your setup and tires being used... Track conditions... The Lola body is also body that will work very well... But again, it also depends on setup... Yokomo, Proline/Protoform and Racer's Edge all make lola bodies that will work and handle well... Go to your local track and see what the real racers are using.... Ask them why they are using that type of body and about there setup... Do that first... Who has the best prices??? That depends on your lhs and how they price there RC car bodies... For the most part, the prices are all about the same... Maybe a couple dollars difference between companies.

I believe Frewer makes the Racer Edge Lola body.
You can find it on Speedtech R/C.

Also, think about the front shock tower.......you will have to cut most of the tower off in order to fit the body..........or, you have cut two holes and let the tower stick out...

But overall, these LOLA body will get you mad understeering, and there is NO WAY you will have rear trackion problem, only TOO MUCH rear trackion.
