The suggestions are just feedback from mugen owners on what their wish on the new mugen(MTX4). For myself, I have 2 units of MTX3 for the past 1 year, 1 with 1 way driving system and the other is with spool system. it troublesome to change the front pully of MTX3. I wish mugen will came up with the front 1 way as Surpent did with their 710.

"Now I can set my brakes tight and brake in the last 5 ft."

"Slight mid-turn breaking is a piece of cake too."

Challenger, I set the brakes so that it only rolls about 5"-8" with a hard push from a standstill while the breaks are applied. If the wheels stay locked then that's to tight. I then fine tune the end-point adjuster on the controller. I rarely do mid-corner braking. Of course if you're running to hot towards another car or an inside track corner while the car is in the middle of a turn, you want to fight and keep your line. Ease into the brake (ride the brake). The one-way will usually make you loose, the spool will help keep you safe and in your intended direction.

Just remember, the lock spool likes to be throttled in the turns. It takes a little getting use to, but I really like running it.

I see. Thanks.

Some of the parts look similar to other manufacturer's cars but I guess these days there's only so much you can before you appear the same as someone else!

Let me just say, I love my mtx-3. best car I have had. Also that I am sure that Mugen will see this thread and determine what changes need to go into the mtx-4. wWe need to give them that inspiration and let them know what we really want out of our next touring car. No I am not sponsored by Mugen, but would like to be. Unfortunatly I am serving in the military and cant make it to too many big races.

100% agree with him, we, driver, need to give Mugen inputs on what needs to be improved.
All I want is Easier Diff Access.
Other than that, I love my car.

Kid, Thanks for the information on setting the brake. I must had set my brake to hard....... that I cant ride the brake at mid-turn. As for to put throttled during corning, that is my driving style and I really need to learn braking at mid-corner to control my car from over shooting(run out of racing line).
