would it make any sense driving this car with rubber tires?

I'm kinda interested of this car, but I sold my truer and RRR because I got a bit tired with foams.

Maybe the car isn't the same with rubber tires. Opinions?

I've never seen any 1/10 nitro on-road with rubber tires.

You can race it with rubbers no problem. Performance will not be exact the same as with foams, but still very fast.

In my country, one of the tracks has very low grip and foam works bad so at nationals events there you will see us racing rubbers no problem. In Brazil they have a parallel-to-national racing calendar all based on 100% rubber tires (alpharc being the dominant tire there).

I think in Japan and England they have rubber based nitro racing too ...

Here you have some rubber 1/10 nitro racing :

- Chile : http://youtu.be/mVV29FAWyAY

- Chile : http://youtu.be/FFC73wkIaGM

- Brazil (capricorn) : http://youtu.be/AmzqcMDEP6E

- Brazil (racing rubber class) : http://youtu.be/T7zJAjDcOVY

If you own a Kyosho R4 and needs rubber setup let me know man, national champion here race R4 and he already have a setup for rubber track as base start ...

cya !

Right... the half of the stages of the national championship are in minituerka's track, in low grip conditions where foam tyres doesn't work well... Here is a more actual video... the red nose car is mine...

Cool racing action, thanks for posting it guys.
Pato, nice work on the video too.

Its good to see more guys racing 200mm rubber slicks.

We offer our belted versions 26mm and 30mm widths. They're available in shores ratings ranging from 35 all the way to 65 hardness for those long hot mains. Designed for nitro racing in mind.

Would be nice to see this class grow more.
