Thanks

I saw the prototype front bulkhead on Oliver Mack's car at Winter Nats. It has a wire anti-roll bar option. Not sure what else they are working on.

The original V8-11 chassis? No difference.
All previous versions had a softer chassis.

Looks like ther are new front bulkheads, front antiroll bar, front lower arms and maybe a second side belt tensioner.

Maybe more..

What is the effect on the car?

The effect is, that you have a softer antirollbar with less rolling.
Here a picture of the final design:

Default Blitz R18

Hello

I'd like to know if anyone has tried the Blitz R18. If so how does it compare with the 909? Also how far foward are you mounting the R18? We're new to the team and would appriciate any input any of you can offer. Thanks in advance for your help and cooperation.

I mounted it centered on the front wheel wells. The 909 pushes on high speed steering. This car likes the R15 the best everywhere I have run it. The R18 actually feels like a comprimise between the two.

These are only protoform bodies, sorry have not tried the Blitz.

Thanks Brad

I agree that the R18 has more steering than the 909. We haven't tried the R15 on our other car. So your saying just mount it over the wheel wells? I guess will see you at the KO. Thanks again for your input.

Been running the Shepherd for a little over a year now. Ran the R15 at the recent Kosmic Fuel race. Even though the 909 is a very good body, the R15 brought the car to life in the corners.Have not tried the R18 yet.
