The Mugen red 4-pin clutchschoe does cost 20+ dollar while it is just 1 dollar of material. We have tested some materials and are sticking to the red one from our supplier, they are strong and provide a good grip/slip balance.

Id also like to know the differences in clutch shoe material, more specifically the Kyosho clutch shoes. I have the Grey shoe, but how does that differ to the:
Black
Red
Grey
I only just had a search and 1 site said that the coefficient of friction decreases from black to grey, so does that mean the Grey slips the most and the Black grips more, or the other way around?

Red is medium wears out quickly
Grey is the ticket & has been the most consistent used from all of team drivers back in the day
