Default Exhaust Extensions??

I have the dodge stratus body and the body is so wide that the exhaust pipe tip doesnt come out of the car. It makes such a mess. Is there anything out there that I can add on to the tip to make it come out of the car?? Thanks for the help.

Is there any performance lost when using an extension.
On my 1/8, the exhaust is no where near the body.

YES, don't worry if the pipe doesn't get all the way to the body, these things are NOT good for your engine.

Alright.
I'm glad I never used one on my car then.
I usually get a rag and clean off the inside of the body.

Hey, theRED5, why arent they good for the car? i use them on all of my nitro cars and dont see any performance loss. maybe the one that you are using is too small, restricting the airflow maybe? the only difference i notice with them is a muffling of the exhaust sounds, thats it!

Default STINGER length issue....

last time we have this stinger lenght and performance THREAD ...

so maybe this TUBING will have implication.

performance implication and also racing regulation implication.

i still dont think that it cuts down on performance if you use the right size of exhaust tubing. plus i meant to tell you that you should cut the tubing down to where it exits the body. it should not come out of the body more than 1 inch.

It will rob performance on the top range,.. like I've mentioned in the other thread,... longer stinger (the deflector counts as a stinger btw) will give you more torque (lower engine speed power) up to a certain level, then starts robbing power out too..

my tip: leave the exhaust without them for racing, some dirt and other mess would worth the trophy.. for daily use, it's all up to you
