Ted....

I could not agree more about the club with the great job done by them all... ..

Also bobby run was awesome to watch... I know this being my first ever hour long main i was beat so i could not imagine how he was doing ;-)

As for my main it could not have been better .. Small bobble here or there or it might have been a different out come..

I found out before the main my chassis was like a pretzel and did not even realize it as all through Quals my car was pushing like crazy compared to practice where i thought i had a chance at TQ but once i put a new one on for the main it turned too much and we needed to put a front bar on it during the 10 min warmup then she was a missle....

Thanks again to the club for a fun time...

Mike

Mike,
I think that was my first time watching a hour long race and I was beat!
You Guy's made it well worth it, with the performance you put on. That was some incredible driving!

Congrat's to you Bobby.
I still tired from thinking about it............
Brad.

Default Thanks

I want to thank everyone at the Nats. Everyone was so nice to me, and I wouyld like to add that everything ran like clockwork. Thanks motor man for the pipe, thanks to Mike Dunnigan for the set up the car was great after he helped out. I would not have made the masters A without him.

I would also like to thank Rob from OS for the engine, I think this new design will be a performer! TR-RSpec

The A-Main had some of the best racing I have ever seen and was very clean.
An awesome track and excellent organisation throughout the week.
Just watching the race, Cyrul seemed to be the fastest around the track except for his problems.
Swauger drove exceptionally well and deserved the win after a number of pit problems and other mishaps and was patient enough to wait and find the right opportunity to put the pass on Hara. There was a huge sigh heard around the track when his battery pack ran out.
Blackstock drove a very consistant and clean race always in the hunt and came close to being in the lead a number of times. An hour is a long time but wasn't quite long enough this time. It seemed like another few minutes would have been all he needed.
Hara is definately a truly talented driver. He was smooth, and steady. Definately did not have the power that some of the others did but more than made up for it with skill in the infield.

The A-Main drivers

The Winners

It don't know how they got Hara's car so clean in only a few minutes but here it is after the race.

Salvadori.....it was not the win or wall way of racing(Mycar is in perfect shape for the next race)

My car was perfect in the final......I had a few things that jump and and bite you(its called gas racing)

I would like to say congrats to Hara...he drove awesome

also Mike Swauger...very smooth waiting for the right time..he had the fastest car on the track at the 45 min mark....

and also my teammate Mike Blackstock who drove his butt off and was one mistake away from winning the nats

but as everyone knows its not always the fastest car that wins the nats.....(remember the tortoise and the hare)

but all in all it was a good race..I myself even after racing for sooooooooooo many years still learned more at this race.

so all in all I would have to say dont ever jump to conclusions to what happens in the races if you weren't there(it is gas racing as I said earlier)

take care everyone,

Barry
