Default Ofna LD3 Pro-Any comments?

I was looking at getting a nitro on-road race car. I have plenty of nitro experience, but not plenty of money. I was reading in Touring Cars mag and saw the Ofna LD3 Pro. Got a pretty good rating. Plus it comes in a kit form with a .12 Picco XP engine. Look here to see it. http://werksracing.com/product.do?sku=WRXP12Rs
I like this car because it not only is in a kit version, but comes with a raceable(being able to keep up with the other cars) engine, but no radio, which is fine for me since I have plenty of radios. The car comes with wheels, tires, engine, pipe, manifold, and a semi-painted body. I like this particular kit alot. Is it a good buy for me?

I have sold a few LD3's and have my own Hong Nor LD3 Champion that you can't get from Ofna USA.....I like mine lots and have had no complaints or major malfuntions with the ones I have sold to my customers. In comparison to the other machines in it's class the LD3 hands down has the most suspension adjustments, parts quality and fit is very good too. The online support for the car is great with the threads here on RC Tech and over on Ofna's site....for the money the LD3 Pro is a decent deal and with some careful setup work it's a front runner on the track

SteveG, how about that engine that I gave the link to? Is that Picco/Werks a good racing engine? I also saw the kit w/o the engine and nitrohouse.com recommended this engine for the money

Is this engine any better or worse than the Picco/Werks?

A Picco is a Picco is a Picco no matter what the brand name is on the package Picco makes a decent motor for the money....I've had a couple of the P12 RR's which pre date the XP's slightly but both ran like a champ. Picco's HP claim is a tad bit bloated though in my opinion

Hey have you considered the plain jane OS 12 TR ? Not a bad little mill for a hundred and twenty five bucks at Tower Hobbies
