Default Help needed: starter box problems!

My starter box just recently decided to catch on fire. This resulted in all the wiring getting destroyed, but it appears that the motor and battery are still fine. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the Ofna pink starter box? I've decided to build my own wiring and use some heavier guage wiring.

I finished rebuilding all the wiring today and it seemed to work fine when I didn't have a load on it. Then when I placed my car on top and pressed down the starter box just died out on me. The battery is still reading around 12.5volts. Does anyone know what's wrong with it?

It sounds like you arn't getting a good connection somewhere. Most likely at the switch. The box I use has a pretty primitive contact mechanisim using a spring and washer to make the electrical connection. I have had many problems with my box with the switch. If your box uses an actual switch, the switch could have been damaged by the fire, or could have even caused it in the first place.
