Default FW05-R vs G4evo vs 710

I am about to buy a r/c, but im a rookie. Can you ppl tell me wich one is best, and if its not asking too much, the advantages over the others.

I must say, that at this moment, i prefer the FW05-R, but i would like to hear some wise words on these cars.

Thanks

FW-05R needs hop ups about $150

G4 needs hop ups also

710 fast out of the box

I prefer the Fw-05 after i got it working right. More durable than the 710 and everybody has 710's here

Chico , take your 710 to the Nat's and see how many FW-05R's place ahead of you . Then you can make that comment if you still believe it. The 710 is a great car , as is the G4 , but so is the FW-05R. They are all good chioces.

K9: All three cars are excellent choices. It all comes down to what your local hobby shop has support of. I have driven the O5R and I must tell you that is a great car, fast in the corners (incredible punch) and sticks to the aphalt as gue. The G4 is very responsive as is the 710. I can't tell you which one is best, in any case, you'll have to adjust to each one.

Chico: By the way, who won the Pre-Worlds in Brazil? Talk about rookie cars eh!

Havent driven all of those cars. Although, people I know have them. Each person would tell you different. No madder which one you chose its just going to take a little tuning and adjusting. The question of which one is better cant really be answer, because they all have there pros and cons, and also driver preference.
With all that said, I would just stay away from the NTC3. Its a good car, but I don't know if you driven alot or not because the drivetain is fragile if you hit walls at all really. I had one and messed up the drivetrain by just clipping a flapper thing many times.
Although, its really what parts your LHS carries and whatever you really think. Once you get one, you can always change in the future and will like everyone.

i owned both so i can compare them!!!!!! in my opinion the fw-05r is a stronger car and also accelerates alot faster than the 710!! i had the same engine on both cars and my lap times on my fw-05r were in the average of 1/2 second faster than the 710.

Faster or not, one thing is for sure, the FW-05R is definitely more durable than the 710.

Its human nature to say the car they own is the best available, but its childish to brand the other as rookie just because they choose a different car....

The S710, G4 and the FW05 have their goods and bads. Different people would tell you different stories about them, and these stories may or may not apply to you. One good way to help you decide, I suggest, is to go to the track where you would run your car, tally up what car that people there run most, and get that one. You won't go wrong by doing that cause at least information and setup help would be easily available at the track when you run your car....

Nice one!!

`946`from ISO9001-2000. 94% most of the time is the system fault and they only leave 6% to human fault. Why? human makes too many (repeatable) mistakes until they would now focus more on improving the system.
