I think the issue with the moto clutch is the material the weights are made of get hot and begin to stick and lockup. I have tested my theory with stock clutch and gio racing weights and had slot better performance. Just my two cents.
Thanks a lot, great info.

Maybe the Capricorn / IDM weights with the grub screws would be a good option then.

Motonica has made changes to the clutch. The flywheel had some changes done to it about a year ago, and now there are new part numbers for the shoes and weights, so those got changed too.

Hi, this great car is handled by motonicaUSA located in Cali. Garen Hogobian is the guy who imports them and has good service. Also you should check out the BP engine line he brings in too, they are fast and very high quality Italian racing engines.

Sorry, been busy. First batch of RS kits is sold out, 2nd batch leaving Italy soon. Check this page this coming week, there will be one listed http://www.amainhobbies.com/index.ph...rh&filter_cat=
No upgrade kit (P81 to RS) available yet. What is wrong with the bearings?

Just finished building.

ready to run, with a 1500 Lipo RX-pack, mine is weighing in at 2470 grams.
It certainly looked heavier..

Has anyone else put his on the scale yet?

Oh, btw, did you build yours with the 50T or 51T rear belt pulley?

At first I thought they were crap.

After putting them into the ultrasonic cleaner twice and after all the black grease came out of them, they are now running pretty smooth.

Nevertheless, I would have expected rubber shielded bearings to be honest.

I already pm'ed you, but in case others are wondering, it changes the internal gear and overdrive ratio. More drive to the rear wheels. Go to motonica.com and on to the download page and check out the drive ratios for the 3 pulley set options for the P81.
