Thank you guys. It was a good race, my car was consistent all weekend and fast when it needed to be- the last 5 minutes of the final. Jason McDonald was super fast, and congrats to his overall win in the series. Off road legend Tim Long was also fast and congrats to him for his 3rd place finish. I should also thank Scott Fisher (1/10th series champ) for the top notch pit work.

The VOX motor was very good, and so I have both BP and VOX to choose from. I am looking forward to trying this motor back in LA on the big layout.

Mmmmm .... this is interesting ..... any news you can give us Garen?

From the Motonica website:
"Motonica announces the upcoming P81 RS2.

On the base of the racing experience of this last year Motonica takes a further step towards the best performance developing, in collaboration with its drivers, the new winning formula for 1/8 scale on road races.

Coming soon the pictures of the new solutions designed for version 2012 of the P81."

I guess I'll be buying a new car again soon - WHOOOHOOO !!!

It is just launching so fast and so frequent, similar to xray's ep., one car a year.

I don't keep up with ep touring car, but Motonica has not launched a 'new' car since the P81 in 2009. The P81 was introduced in 2009, the P81 Pro in 2010, and the P81 RS in 2011. All 3 cars share the same chassis, and virtually all the plastics. Everything is interchangeable from one to the other, and the biggest change was with the RS- the radio tray flex option and the front and rear towers. Everything else was the inclusion of option parts.

Now, I'll be honest, I don't know a whole lot about the P81 RS2. All I/we have been told is new rear upper arm, new front lower arm, and new front hubs. I have not seen or been given any details so you know what I know. If I had to guess, I would say the new parts would still be interchangeable with the current/older cars and that the rest of the car remains the same.
