I have not, and I have not heard from anyone else with this problem. Can you email me a photo of the broken parts and a clear photo(s) of the front end of the car?

i found the inner hub but i havent been back there to look for the axle, the front end looks fine to me the axles didnt have excessive side to side play or anything, the suspension is all intact,i figure the only way it could have come out is to have broken. i will look at it more closely and see if my kid can take some pics when she gets home....thanks for getting back to me...

OK, so nothing broke for sure, more than likely the dogbone popped out. Are you using the washer on the outdrive and how wide is the front end?

i am missing the washer on the left side but thats the one that fell out. it measures 8 1/8 inches from the top of the knuckles my micrometer doesnt open far enough to get it in mm,i can bring one home from work tomorrow and get a more precise measurement. i ordered the parts from amain and should have them in a few days. looking at the r/s there is a lot of side to side movement but i dont see how it came out, however stranger things have happened to me with this hobby....

Out of 5 cars that are running here, we had to replace the dog bones completely on 3 cars and the front ones on another.

They's been cracked around the drive pin right out of the box. It's hard to make out, but when you look closely you can see it.

Did you guys have any problems with the clutch bells or the adjustment nuts on the shocks?

Zero issues on the dogbones and shock nuts on the RS (and all P81 series), and only one reported broken clutchbell.

garen, got my parts and found that i had the upper arms in the inner hole with the trimmed upper arm. i corrected that(eye sight is a prob at my time of life). i reset the camber at -2 degrees and what i find is that at full turn the axle pin is fully exposed. my width is 248/250mm. should i put a second washer behind the axle stub? i dont want to loose another axle and hub. they sent me plain steel axles(amain) i was wondering if the anodized ones are available. guess thats it and thanks again...

The clutchbell on my RS broke as well - sheered of right behind the pinions - Replaced it with my old P81 clutch bell - no problems.

A Main sent you the last of the gray dogbones as they probably had a mixed inventory.
How far are your wheels turning? If you have a setup fixture, the front knuckles should be turning around 28 to 30 degrees, no more. Also, where are you measuring the width. Make sure you are measuring from the outside bottom of the wheels. I normally run my car at around 248mm, but you should be able to run wider with no problems. If everything checks out and you still feel the pins are not all the way at full turn, install a second washer on the outdrive shaft.

Clutchbell: The one broken bell I have seen broke at the same place, but like I said before, only one reported broken.

one more thing to try is to change the number of shims on the outside of the front axles, between the outer bearing and drive pin. Place only 3 washers outside and move the remainder to the inside.
