is the electric only a 1 speed? and if so as it looks like in the pics are the speeds comparable?

The electric cars are single speed. The ones I have seen on our track are just as fast as the nitro cars down the straight, and even faster out of the corners.

Default RS conversion?

Is motonica planning a conversion upgrade kit to RS?
Front bulkheads, radio plate-rod,aluminium parts, shock towers, delrin washers-spacers for the shocks and for the body centering pin .(no need for the 2 speed as it's been sold separatelly and most motonica owners have buyed this already).
Does anyone know?
Thanks.

i finally got to give my car a shake down run. ran a few tanks to get the engine broken in some more,it is quite impressive. i leaned it out a bit because it was bogging but them it started running hot so we called it a night.

No conversion kit yet or in the works as far as I know. If you want only a partial conversion, get the front tower and tray/bulkheads, and everything else later, or get a new kit and use your old kit for parts as over 95% of the car and parts are interchangeable.

Both amain and superior will have them in a couple of weeks. Toy town hobby shop also has the kit on backorder.
