There are a few of them, there is the Ipanema Warrior (brand new) works very well with great balance and downforce. Also the protoform works good too. There are people using Kyosho GT1 bodies but I haven't use them on the Spec so I couldn't tell you if they fit or not.

Here's a better view of the "Warrior" body in action.

And here's what it can help do for you too.

Any updates or new lids for the Spec? Will the Inferno GT or GT2 lids work or are they too long? I am interested in the Corvette body for my Spec, but don't want to drop $60 for a body if it won't fit, or looks stupid.

Thanks!

The Corvette body is a bit too long for the DM1 Spec. The Vette body is made to fit the GT2 which sits on a longer chassis. Ofna also sells a Mercedes body for the DM1 Spec. Also all of the GT1 bodies will fit the DM1 Spec.

Thanks for the info CurveTracer. That's a bummer. I noticed that the wheelbases are 1 inch different and I guess that is enough to make it look funny. I'll look into the GT1 bodies.

Thanks again!

Go with the Warrior you won't be sorry. Just ask for the front bumper also because you need a longer front bumper. You can use the stock one but in my opinion the bumper helps as well.
