There's ways around that. Not every part needs a whole new base, and they probably do all the molds in-house, so they only have material cost.

Looking at the pic, it looks like the end of the front sway bars stick out from the holder and are slotted so you can adjust them with a screwdriver. I like that.

Yep...

Seems to me he is on the wrong thread... Because last time I saw, this was an Xray thread, not Mugen...

Just because Xray has the money and wants to invest in staying with plastic bulkheads/parts doesn't mean the car will look like a "4" or any other plastic car.

All cars are similar nowadays and it all goes down to quality... Which in Xray's case, its a no contest...

So anyways... let the "Oh look! It looks like M! It looks like E!" war begin...

It looks like a 1/8 NT1 almost. I can say this cause I saw the actual car in my hands last Sunday.

I do see a MRX4 into these pics finished with some NT1 solutions like the rollcenter settings. One thing they should not have used is mounting the front downstops on the rollbar mounts, that was with the MRX4 difficult to get it right if you do not know how......

Pretty much everyone does that now and I hate it. I just don't understand why when there are so much better options.

Oh I see.

And the guy that run the milling machine, the guy who designs the tool, and all the other people there work for free????

Of course not but if you have an outside company do the work, you still have to pay for all that plus that company's mark-up. So 32 molds for Xray would be like 16 molds outsourced. Add in the fact that some of those 32 are probably existing molds for other cars like shock parts, rod ends, things like that.

There is a good pic of all the molds in the RedRC article.
