Hi guys, thought I'd share pics of my RX8..

All prepped and ready for the Wallace Showdown in California this upcoming week..

I have the parts to convert the rear to camber links instead of arms.. I will try back to back when I get there.

This engine is for early practice, it's very fast but I'm bringing some freshies too.

Don't mind the paint job lol. I'm learning how to paint my own bodies. They will look better as I practice more.

Looks like new car will still have upright Throttle / Brake servo. Based off Juraj picture on Xray FB

The upright throttle servo is no disadvantage compared to a layed down position. but people are sensitive for everything that is alled low weight and low CG.

But to be honest, we are just in the year 2022 and he is designing a 2023 car. Next winter there will be a sneak peak of the 2024 car.....

Hi everyone, back from the Wallace Showdown at Steel City. It was an incredible race! I worked very hard to improve every time out but could not reach the desired pace. I got the car and driving to a good pace towards the end of the event, having made changes every run. I think that I could have improved even more; I have to work on adapting to new conditions more quickly!

Here are Go Pro footages of Q3, Q4 and Q5. My best run ended up being Q5. Q3 and Q4 were identical times (but for different reasons lol). I will not be posting the main as it was disastrous for me 😅.. Onto the next one!

Yea. Looks like they may have finaly tucked in the receiver box inside and under the radio tray though. What I'm really curious about is that front end. Mounting the shocks to the bulkhead seems to be back in trend.

Good drive in Cali man! You looked great in your main! It was really nice to hang out in person.

Well at least they are sticking with their upright servo, although trying to lower CG. Not sure about removing more chassis material / to bring the deck down??? Oh well, time.will tell.
