Looking to get either a fusion 28 or the new turbo one, but its a difference of $100. Is the turbo worth it? Its an extra .4hp & 7000rpm's more.

What do youi intend to do with the Fusion?? Are you going to be doing landspeed attemps with it?? It would be good for that purpose but most clubs will not allow you to race against other 1/10 scale cars because your motor is too large for the 1/10 scale class , they run .12's. So all you can do with the Fusion is mostly parking lot bashing with your buds and drag racing or landspeed attemps. AND don't have a highspeed crash major parts damage and $$$$$ replacement.

..........Rossa & ISC hold landspeed attemps every year in the stock IC class there have been several Fusions that have done well. However most these landspeed attemp vehicles are not stock with highly modified motors and compete in the open class. Is the Fusion a good choice for this guy?? It just depends on what he wants to do with it , not legal for most club racing but a good parking lot basher if you know how to set it up. Here is a picture of my highly modified Wolf Fusion radared by a policeman at 90mph. It took over 800ft to reach that speed and I almost lost it was just a small speck in the distance. That was my last attemp at a landspeed record.
