Default need help my novarossi 35 plus 21 engine is slightly rusty

hi people i have a novarossi 35 plus 21 engine and its slightly rusty.whats the best stuff to get rid of rust underneath piston and in engine.the engine hast seen any after run oil since being running so this is the problem for the rust.ive now bought new rear bearing and novarossi after run oil.if anyone knows anything i can use to resovle the rust i would apresiate it.

The piston is aluminum so it will not rust. You're probably just seeing carbon and burnt up castor deposits. Nothing to worry about.

thankyou for ur comment ok but i have however noticed theres a slight film over the conrod as if it were feul sill on there like oil or something is that anything to worry about

Film you see is caster from fuel. It is natural. no problems. Wanting to remove film, use paint thinner or at auto parts store, purchase a can of Berryman's carb cleaner. It'll remove the film. May use a toothbrush to remove stubborn, burnt on film.

What he said. It's just the oil (and dye if the fuel has any in it) dried up on the surface.

Rust can only be seen on the bearings and crankshaft. If there is rust just take the engine apart and high likely you can wipe it off with a towel.

Heavy rust can be wiped off with a Scotch Brite pad but do not touch the crankpin.

Brown spots on other parts is for sure no rust.

Just use some fuel on a lint free rag to wipe it off.
