Has anyone used them for serious racing I would like to know how they compare to a V1S, NTC3, FW-05s

The engine looks good just not sure how well they will handel or how strong they are. The plastics look very weak espically the c hubs.

sent u an pm

The one race i raced in with the car i was queit happy i manage to get third and teh win car was a v1r with sweet novarassia engine but i ran it with o.s Mddified engine and left about 3 ntc3, i don't know how it compares to the V1s cause i raced against a v1r and i don't think no one has FW-O5s at my track.

What do you mean??

What do you think is a real race car.

I am prepared to buy what every it takes to win.

Looking at FW-05 V1S NTC3 and MSX 3

I think they will be very fast just not sure about the strenght

elmar66 06-27-2004 06:59 AM

Don't get the NTC3...

Especially if you are just learning....I started with one and it was difficult to start with. You spend most of your time fixing therefore a lot of time adjusting.

frozenpod 06-27-2004 07:22 AM

I'm not just learning already did that for the last two years.

I would like to buy something different because the one two cars out there are V1S and FW-05 there is one TC3

If it is just as good I will buy I think it will handel as well but my main issue is with strenght.

The plastics look weak

bigG 06-27-2004 12:13 PM

The plastics it strong but if u don't like the plastic they have carbon fiber and alumin upgrades.

"theRED5 It's not a REAL RACECAR ..."
what do u mean not a REAL RACECAR ANY CAR CAN BE A RACE IT DEPENDS ON HOW THE CAR IS SET UP AND THE PERSON DRIVING IT. AND IF THE IS NOT "A REAL RACER" WHAT IS ?????????????????

I mean that noone drives it at any races I've ever been to. You'd be better off getting a MTX3, if not Mugen, then get the Kyosho or NTC3. Those are all cars that have won races. I think it's more in the HPI RS4 range of cars. I've seen the MSX and, quite frankly, it's a piece of sh*t.:D

bigG 06-27-2004 04:40 PM

Yes not a lot of ppl have them that one of the reason i love this car noone has it. but i everyone has a right to state there own opinion and if u don't like the car ooo well i am not trying to change ur mind. but i bet if i had the time to set the car up it would be one of the best on track.

Last weekend my mates first test with one went within 0.7 sec of the fastest V1S in Australia. It was the second fastest car with only three heats of track time.

That seems pritty good to me.

I think that they will handel better and go just as fast.

frozenpod 06-27-2004 08:09 PM

The car has provisions for sway bars but mugen don't make any sway bars for the msx3 does anyone know where you can get some adjustable sway bars
