Default 07010/1 Conrod

Is the NR 07010/1 conrod compatible with the R7, 07009??? What motor is it for?

Thank you

No it is not. C rods have a smaller crank pin for the "Colari" edition motors. If your motor has an R rod, you can use any R rod.

No, even smaller crank pin. Those need the P rods.

You basically have three main Nova .21 rod types.

R series. Big crank pin. Most Nova motors, 35+21, Flash, Kangaroo, all MaxPower, etc.

C Series. Smaller crank pin for Collari motors, 35+21 Collari, Cordoba, etc.

P series. Even smaller crank pin for 359.

Then there is another rod for the short stroke offroad motors (pre-2000 BF)

Thanks Sean, makes things clear, and I think the new Collaris run the R rod?

Take care

I suppose all you need to do is change the cranks on the motors to run the rod you want??

Yeah you could. As long as you have a 14.5mm crank motor. I could be wrong but I think all the 14mm crank motors use R rods.

I love Frankenstein motors.

My current club race motor is a bone stock Max 721 except for the crank which came out of the BADDEST old R1 I have ever seen. Runs great.

My Nats motor was a 35+21 with a great mod crank from an old 21+3 in it.

Also had an old RB C5 with a bunch of Kangaroo guts in it that was great until she finally blew slam up.

359s had crankpin problems. On mine the crank pin broke off the crank. We just put a 35+ crank in it and it runs great. It changes the power curve a bit though.

Probably more torque? Is it still up there with the rest or does feel a bit sluggish?
