I think its a good idea to upgrade but I think you should just get the conversion kit for the front and leave the throttle servo the way it is. Because as I said before when the throttle servo is layed down it sticks out and if you get hit on that side the ears of the servo case break off.

The engine is very strong ...and very fast...

I feel the engine is very smooth power band.

I got JP FX-R02 also but I could done the better lap time with MAX .. JP is very powerful too and I think it 's a bit better than MAX at Low and MID ( Personal 's think) I might because I 'm not use to power band of JP ..the way of tuning to match my driving style.

But too bad I got a bad luck with the MAX engine ..I broke 2 times already ...2 times were all my mistakes. Just like I want to change the conrod in next run but It broke before ..

I think the high rev engine will have to change conrod on time.

I actually used an old body as a template. I just dropped it right on top and made markings from strait down. Unfortunately my front post was off, and I had to widen the hole down.

Another way to think about it is to line up the body with the front bumper plate after having cut away the engine, roll bar and fuel tank opening. then line up your body mounts. I think if you get the serpent lola vds body it has proper indications where the holes should be.

I know its too late for this one since you've painted it but usually its best to use a permanent marker and mark the holes on the outside of the body BEFORE you spray paint.

Never mind, I'm sure we've all done the same mistake at one point or another.

I agree. Next time I should completely finish the car before starting the body.

I heard the hpi lola was a bit lower than the serpent. Does anyone stock the Delta Lola? Or we supposed to call delta directly?

Yep.. I have just used it yesterday race.. The handling is perfect ... a lot better than Serpent EVO2 ......the same setting but Photoform will give you more on power steering and very stable. this bodyshell I could brake very very hard ......as the same braking amount, I couldn't brake with Serpent EVO2 shell

The best way to do this is the first time take your engine and rollbar off put the body on make the holes for the body posts first then do the engine and the roll bar. Then when the body is totalled and you are going to throw it away, cut the top part of the body off and keep it as a template for your next body. Hope this helps.
