hi im new to the nitro rc car game ............

i have 3 thunder tiger ts4n ntro rc cars 2 of which are running great.......

i have 1 problem with my main car i use when i accelerate full throttle on my control my car seems to cut out i have been told i am running to rich or maybe a bit too lean but every time i try and make adjustments to the needle my car either cuts out and will not start or if i turn the other way the wheels start going on there own like its on full throttle i realy need help with this topic thanks look forward to hearing a reply thaniks in advance

usally on road car engines have 2 needles. theres one by the carb(the one that you were turning), and one below that. the idle is the other needle so you need to adjust that.

So does the engine start and idle good? If yes and the engine cuts out when you're under power and it's up to speed it's too lean. Richen the high speed needle (the one sticking up out of the carb) about 1/16 to 1/8 of a turn counterclockwise. See what happens there. If it seems to bog down immediately then Id say it's rich, and I'd lean out the low speed needle which is near your throttle linkage that attaches to the carb. Lean it about 1/16 of a turn which would be clockwise. See if that helps any. Only make small adjustments at a time and run the car a bit and note any changes.
