That is not an NTC3, it is an HPI car I am thinking a RS4 first gen. Best to message Fast Harry to help you more about the car and what you will need to get it running.

This is Harry: http://www.rctech.net/forum/members/...rrydotcom.html

Your first post was at 2:06, and then you posted again approx. 20 min. later
Hardly enough time for anyone to respond.
Most everyone is at work this time of day, and can not respond until they are at home, plus many of the guys dont even go on-line for a couple of days at a time.
I understand you want to run your car, but you need to give guys time to respond to the post

Can you find some with a logo on it? I'm not so sure that's an HPI. Reason I say that is because I don't remember an HPI shaft drive with the engine on the left side. I've been searching an I can't find which model that is either. Nitro rs4 to the nitro rs4-2 where belt drive i think. Nitro rs4 3 is shaft drive with engine on the right. Wish I knew for sure.

Check it again
NTC3 is a nitro 10th scale<Associated>
This is without a doubt not an Associated car.
Looks like an HPI, or even a Duratrax.

It looks like a hpi super nitro rally. If it is good luck finding parts. The car in my picture is a hpi super nitro but not a rally. The rally has a buggy chassis look.

It looks like somebody grabed some HPI model and switched the engine to the left side, because every HPI has the engine on the right side.

For sure it's not a nitro TC3. Check some of the parts. You might just have to wing it on assembly. Try to download an HPI manual and follow it to get some understanding of how it goes together. Find a Nitro RS4 EVO series. http://www.hpieurope.com/instructions.php?lang=en

No, HPI did not produce a car with the engine on the left-hand side like that which is pictured. Outside of Fast Harry, I am probably the second-best as far as knowledge of HPI products and can tell you that the car pictured is not an HPI but some sort of clone. HPI has either produced cars with the engine across the chassis like most cars or the engine has been on the right-hand side of the cars (since the HPI Nitro MT which was their first right-hand side engine car). Probably a Chinese internet clone that was purchased cheap and when the guy started breaking stuff, he found out that he could not get replacement parts so he gave up on it and now has pawned it off on his friend.

Here are pics of the HPI super nitro (pic 1) and super nitro rally (pic 2). Notice, no engine on the left-hand side.

So you are saying the 1st picture is showing that the engine is on the Right side??< little confused there> sure looks like thats the left side to me
Go to HPIs web site, check out the R40 Hara edition, then check out RS42 and see what side those engines are on. Thats just two models showing the engines on the left side, plus the 1st picture you posted sure looks like the left side.
