Hey Speedy, try any local shop that caters to off road and they may have the Mugen shock oil. Otherwise Ashford or Ace and Yes, it is 500 wt.

Fraz, thanks for the info. I kmow the Delta XP4 is primarily a Kyosho Evolva so are the setups translate from one chassis to the next?

Yes, they are the same. Delta's version is so close that the set-ups should translate from one to the other.
You will need to refine a set-up to suit your track, of course, but the basics are the same.

Good Luck

I just received my new from Arno and was wondering if it is possible to update my XP4 to 2005 Evolva specs, and would it be worth the cost? Thanks.

Rich,
you can either call Delta (641)763-2271 or Kyosho America (949)454-8854 and tell them you need all the parts to bring your XP4 to a 2005 spec. Good luck buddy.

Yes, you can upgrade the plastic parts from the 05 evolva to the xp4.

Is it worth the cost? Probably. I will be for next summer. It will give you more adjustibility and reliability for the belts in the long run. The upgrades from what I've been told will give the car more steering from everything I've read about the differences between the 03 and 05 car. It also looks like (if you buy kyosho parts instead of just delta) Kyosho made a running change to the parts, i.e. the same part numbers for the 05 as the 03, meaning that if you order new parts they will be the 05 version (if you order a bulkhead, it will be the one for the 05 evolva instead of the 03 evolva).

I drove Sal DiFazio's car on our last race of the season and it was a blast to drive. Looking forward to running my own XP4 next season.

Chris, good to hear from you.

I wouldn't quite call it a comeback, for it to be a comeback I would actually have had to be SOMEWHERE. It's more like "cross-training".

BTW, You have a PM.
