Possible rare OS parts?
 

Hi i bought a rc tool box with misc. tools and parts, i found these OS engine parts and was told they are rare parts due to them being from Japan. Can anyone confirm this and maybe tell me how much they can be worth, i feel like im in Pawn Stars lol. Thx for you help.

Not really rare, just old. I had one of the old .12CZ-Z motors. That thing was bad ass. If I still had it, I would jump all over the piston, sleeve and rod to rebuild it.

These parts aren't that rare. At the LHS is work at on weekends, we have a box with several of the parts you have pictured. You can still find them in a few hobby shops but because the OS 12CV has been discontinued and the 15CV will probably be shortly, those parts will eventually become gold to anyone that still has those engines.

And there are MILLIONS of the 12CV out there. I know people that still run them in dirt oval.

I know. I have 2 Redhead 12CVs, 1 15CV with pullstart, and 1 12LD currently in my possession. I have one better for you. I have the cooling head from some company that lets you use a turbo plug on your 12/15CV. I have four of those heads.;) Now, if this stuff was for a RX 15 (which I have one as well), then you can say "rare".
