Great fun at the KO Propo Race in California. I will write more tomorrow, however Diatta Collymore proved the quality of GQ Tires by being the TQ for this race!

Had a great time out there with Sam, the tires ran excellent and produced loads of traction and low tire wear all week. A 35f and AS 37r seemed to be the combination I liked the most on what was a parking lot surface. Had some bad luck in the main, but racing is racing...

Diatta had several great runs in the qualifiers. He was TQ over the 1:10th Nitro Sedan Expert Class by over 3 seconds I think. may have been more.

What was great in the main was after he was hit in the exhaust, which crushed it, his pit man got him out down about 5 and 1/2 laps. With less than half of the race left, Diatta finished about 3 laps down lapping the A Main field twice. It was a great and fun display of driving by Diatta.

GQ tires performed very well on the track. Because the weather was cool, the warm up before the start of the qualifiers and main events was necessary to be used by GQ drivers. Because we (GQ) have real rubber foam tires the heat cycle needs to obtained. Once they became warm the grip levels were extremely high.

Racers that mixed GQ tires with other labels needed to go one shore harder with GQ tires to match them up. If they wanted to use 37 shores with their label but switched to GQ they had to go to 40 shore. This compensated for the lower grip levels of these other label tires so the car will not become loose(using GQ's in front) or develop a push (using GQ's in rear).

The "AS" tires did great on Friday and Saturday when the cooler weather (damn cold actually) was predominate. The "AS" rims is just another tuning method that allows GQ Tires to out perform all others. It is very nice to have these rims in our arsenal as it were.

All in all, GQ had a great weekend. We had a lot of racers using GQ Tires and the compliments and smiles from the racers told the story. For you back East boys, the time is drawing nearer to get those cars cleaned up and ready to go!!!

Great job Diatta! I can't wait for the nitro season to start here on the east coast. Less than a month away.

Im looking for 12mm hex wheels for indoor on a polished and very low traction concrete wherehouse floor. Which of your products would have a 12mm and be suitable for this low traction floor? If not in 12mm how about 17mm?

If you throw the 17mm hexes on, you can try running the GT class rally tires all around http://www.teammarketingamerica.com/...lly_tires.html

Good news !!

GQ racing Tires are introducing their new Black Aerodynamic Carbon Rims for 1:8th Scale and 1:10th Nitro Sedan !!!

Those that wanted Black Rims, GQ has answered your request!
Those that wanted Carbon Rims, GQ has answered your request!

Those that wanted all of the above placed on high quality high grip foam tires, GQ has answered your request !

The dish design is to make the new rims more aerodynamic with a smoother air flow down the sides of your car's body. Look at the picture attached for the new design Carbon Black Rims by GQ racing Tires

These rims will be in stock soon and at the "Same" pricing as our Pro White Rims!

Once we cleared up the translation from Chinese to English, the 1:10th Sedan wheels will come in Black, not in black carbon as the first translation. Based on requests I have been receiving from racers this is still very good news.

The 1:8th Black Carbon Dish wheel will make it's debut at the Worlds being used by a World Class Driver that could win this event. Cool

In Addition Sabrina Lechner from Germany will be attending the Worlds and she also will be using GQ Racing Tires along with several others. I am looking forward to going to the Worlds and watch these drivers have at it on a long fast track.
