I know, but I need to try the 42's to see how they do. I am hoping to use 40/42 to reduce wear !

I understand, but in FBF 40/42 maybe is not go to work good because is no good traction but U can try and if U have the body P 37 maybe work..

Ok good luck !

GQ America Racing Tires Team has (had?) 3 drivers in the top 10. I think however rain caused the first round of qualifying to be wiped out since they only finished 13 of the 16 rounds.

That's okay, maybe the guys will even do better!!!

Hey guys , why would you want to use 40/42, GQ are already harder than other brands 35/37 or at most 37/40 , as you would have noticed this last year most are using ultra soft tyres , in some cases can reduce tyre wear , with harder tyres they slide across the ground like a cheese grater rather than gripping the track surface .
soft tyres are the future. set your cars up to suit.

cheers
chad

Default 2011 ROAR Nationals

*It was great to see what a great job the GQ Racing Tire Team accomplished at the 2011 ROAR Nationals. In the 1:10th class at the end of Qualifying GQ Team had 3 drivers out of the top ten and 4 out of the top 12.

Since GQ does not pay drivers like the lesser other brands, this is quite an accomplishment. Craig Xavier I believed finished 5th in the A main. Melvin Aulston had some great runs in the qualifying just missing beating the top pro drivers by less than 2 seconds in the 5 minute heat.

I wish I was there to cheer our GQ Team on, however I will be out more next year since our move is complete !!! Yeah!!

*I want our 1:10th Nitro GQ Team to keep growing in numbers. So if you know of some fast drivers in your club or at your track, please refer them to me. I also will be signing 1:8th drivers this year as well. Again we are looking for fast drivers.

*I am starting to plan the trip to the Florida Winter Nationals. If there are team drivers also planning on going and need to share a room and rental car let me know so we can get as many guys there as possible. This will be considered the first major race of the year 2012 for your GQ Contracts.

Good Racing!! Have Fun!!!

Sam Felish

Default Pictures ---- Tires

Dorian, I believe I got the pictures. I put them in the file and try to get them up on the website. If they were of finishes some place with the trophy I pass them on to GQ also. Get you guys that 5 minutes worth the fame as often as I can.

Bertrands, I did email you but just to let you know on here also, your tires were sent USPS Priority mail. You should have them within 3 days. So stand guard and don't let the thieves take your tires. Trust me they are gold medal tires. lol
