Default Nitro F1's

Are there any nitro F1's about these days? I have seen a few older ones, Kyosho and Serpent F180, but guessing its not possible to get parts for these anymore as they are both dicontinued. Just after a shelf queen/occasional street racer, not interested in racing. Was thinking a brushless one, but TBH a F1 cars needs a screaming motor to go along with the speed. Is ebay my best bet and just be careful not to break anything?

Any other suggestions or alternatives that may be worth looking into?

Hmmm, just stumbled across the KF01 on Bansai hobbys. Has anyone had any experience with these? Look pretty awesome to me.

Had a search here, but couldnt find any threads with any owners of them.

As far as nitro F1s, Kyosho made one about 10 yrs ago. It was good but they were the only one's that had a nitro one at the time. Thunder Tiger has one that is 10th scale but it is not a very good quality made car. Serpent had the F180 8th scale nitro car that was very high quality, but was very expensive. I believe it was around a $1500 investment to get that one going. Not sure if the Serpent is still being produced. Kyosho does have a Nitro F1 based off their 12th scale Spada chassis. You can find a video or two on youtube. You would have to order it from websites like rctoro or rcmart. I believe they are under $300 USD. That is about it as far as the nitro ones. You do have gas 5th scale ones out there with a competition version from FG that will run you around $1500.

In the past (late 80's / begin 90's) we had F1 bodies for our 1/8 onroad cars, I still do have one.

I had a Thunder Tiger Formula Uno. It was nothing special. Basically a nitro 2WD pan car. Stock body was hideous. I modified a Tamiya F201 body to fit it a bit better.

Default Wow

Does the car come with the rubber band? It is missing in some of those shots.I do not see a pull starter or an air filter but I do see a lot of c/f.
