Default SERPENT PINION PROBLEM

HELLO GUYS,

I HAVE A SERPENT 835 AND WHEN I GIVE FULL SPEED SMALL PINION GO OUT FROM THE ENGINE. I USED THREAD LOCK ON IT MANY TIMES BUT IT ALWAYS GO OUT. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?

have you tried the pinion on the other way ? looks like a taper for it to bite better on the bell ?

Do check the oneway of the 1st gear. If that one is sticking sometimmes it could loosen the pinion as well.

Have you tried a different thread-lock? Some types may not be stong enough and you might need to step up to something stronger. Be careful though because some might be too strong and you might break the pinion trying to get it off.

Recheck your backlash of gear. Roelof is correct on checking the 2-speed tranny one-way clutch, clean and used one-way lube. Engine rotates in one dirrection only. no cause for it to come loose.

if the one way is locked up, it really should tighten the first pinion even more when it tries to shift to 2nd gear. maybe if the clutch isnt set right, and still engaged when you back off, and the one way is locked up, that will definatley loosen the pinion. does it engage 2nd gear at all ?

thx to you all for helping me.
taper side is looking to the engine. Manual says like that.
oneway looks like no problem.
used 2 kind thread lock always same problem
when car comes second gear speed, small pinion goes out. no problem in second pinion. sorry for bad english

And that is telling me the oneway of the 1st gear is sticking.....
