Ran the TOYS for TOTS race at Steel CIty. Took 3rd place with Sweep tires! I am pretty sure first and second place had sweep GT tires too!

GT2--->>>GT3 'long chassis' (360mm wheelbase) GT3 is the newest GT from Kyosho based on their MP9/TK14 buggy.

i was actually asking about the sweep tires. They have tires listed as GT, GT2, and GTR2.

i was actually asking about the sweep tires. They have tires listed as GT, GT2, and GTR2.
  • GT: Our original GT tires debut on Sep/2010. larger in diameter. later we debut GT EXP as well which is Hybrid rubber.
  • GT2: Debut on early 2018, smaller diameter, low profile tires. Hybrid rubber. (recommended for natural asphalt)
  • GTR2: Debut on late 2018, same as GT2, Pro compounds Hybrid rubber. (recommended for sealed asphalt)
More information coming!

1: Because of the ultra low profile shape of the tire, you may experience Steering gains 1st time when you mounted, please do not de-tune your front end to understeer, this can be resulting in excess heat on front tires.
2: if you found any cracks starting of cracks on the outside bead (where the rubber meet wheel) drop of CA glue is needed. otherwise, that can continue cracks to shorten the tires life span. This crack starts from understeer GT8 machines.

This year's ROAR nats is going to be an open tire event. we will make sure our tires are available at the Track for all of the racers who need them from the practice days.
