Agreed! I goofed my body up by cutting too much out of the wheel wells. Made the back end flew too much so it killed my traction. I'll have to try again soon!

Smile East Coast ROAR Regionals

Like to thank Sweep Racing USA for the EXP 40 & 45 Tires that we ran at the ROAR East Coast Regional’s this past weekend at Port Jervis NY.

After every round I was able to ”Tweak” my Xray XB9 GT8 set up to get my good friend Aja and best driver in GT the speed to reset TQ after every round, that was in itself a lot of fun. Thanks Aja you da Man

Look forward to last race of the season in 2 weeks, it will be sad to see the season end but GT8’s future for next year looks even better.

A few pictures to Enjoy

Thanks again to Sweep USA and all my other sponsors that make racing FUN

Leon. That sway bar thing we were looking at will keep that tire down and give you better grip and faster times.

Aja will have a much easier drive too

Thanks again to Sweep USA, the products you give us always make racing fun and competitive.

Last week ends race at Port Jervis was bitter sweet because I had already known my Team mate Aja could not come on Sunday for the Race so we got our “Nitro Fix” on Saturday instead.

The track on Saturday was extremely slow and all the classes were almost a full lap off the pace. Aja and I put our brains in high gear and found a weird set up that worked and Aja was able to TQ all 3 rounds on Saturday

Sunday came and I was bummed that I didn’t have my team mate to race with but still couldn’t keep away from going to the track. The track had obviously changed from slow to fast and our TQ from the day before fell, oh well.

Even though I didn’t have a dog in the fight any more I still had a blast giving my fellow GT brothers a hand. Congrats to Jose for the win and especially Manny L for the 3rd place finish, you are getting faster every race keep it up!!

For all those who were waiting to hear if my new hatch back body worked well please forgive me I didn’t have time on Saturday to test it, Hopefully sooner than later....

Manny L is running the New Sweep Plus one lap Body and I have to say it is really working well and looks great too

Here are Saturday’s qualifying results…
