Default Driver's Stands and Software

I'm still doing research on software and ran into some interesting comments regarding JLap. Apparently there have been more than a few clubs that have had trouble with JLap. Does anyone know any more about this? It looks like a nice system.

I've also been looking for driver's stand plans. I'd like to have one that built as a trailer. Does anyone make these?

Thanks,
C

As I understand it, they are having trouble getting the software to talk to the AMB receiver. There's probably a better than average possibility that the problem is hardware compatibility, but I don't really know.

Check out the R/C Heat thread in the racing forum. I'm sure they can give you more information regarding JLap.

What would be very interesting is if the Virtual R/C software that's being developed and talked about on this forum. If it allowed you to create your own tracks, you could actually test them before you set them up. That would be very cool.

Default Dynatrax 2000 System

Any one used one of these before? I just bought one off ebay and it came with an old DOS based laptop and software. Would like to write my own software for it (maybe) or maybe a AMB20 emulator. Does anyone have any technical documentation on Dynatrax system?

Default Track Software

On another note i was curious about software to design off-road tracks when i first started our new off-road track. To my suprise there was nothing. If any programmers out there intrested in teaming up with me to write one let me know.

We have been running Slyfox for about 18 months with no problems. It is also easy to use. I would stay away from Ally Crash.

Prolap is another lap counting software. I think it's from Norway.

It's very common here in Sweden. I think they used it both at the touring car euros in Staffanstorp and at the 1/8 off road worlds in Furulund.
